The Mushroom's Magikal

Amanita Muscaria, also known as fly agaric, is a mushroom that has been used for centuries for its medicinal and psychoactive properties. However, it is important to note that while Amanita Muscaria contains psychoactive compounds, it can also be toxic and potentially lethal if consumed in large quantities or prepared incorrectly.

Some of the potential benefits of Amanita Muscaria include:

  1. Pain relief: Amanita Muscaria contains compounds that have analgesic properties, making it useful for relieving pain.

  2. Anti-inflammatory effects: The mushroom has been used in traditional medicine to treat inflammation and associated conditions like rheumatoid arthritis.

  3. Anti-anxiety effects: Amanita Muscaria has been shown to have anxiolytic effects, meaning it can reduce anxiety and promote relaxation.

  4. Enhancing cognitive function: Some studies suggest that Amanita Muscaria may improve memory and other cognitive functions.

  5. Spiritual or religious purposes: In some cultures, Amanita Muscaria has been used in spiritual and religious practices.

While Amanita Muscaria contains psychoactive compounds like muscimol and ibotenic acid, it is not typically considered a psychedelic in the same way that other mushrooms like psilocybin-containing species are. The effects of Amanita Muscaria can be unpredictable and can vary greatly depending on the dose and preparation method. The psychoactive effects can include altered perception of reality, changes in sensory experience, and altered states of consciousness. However, it is important to note that consuming Amanita Muscaria can also be dangerous, and individuals should exercise caution if they choose to experiment with this substance.

At Greenlight we have our in-house Amanita that are 350 MG per Gummy. Most customers seem to prefer injecting 1-3 gummies and report a calming and relaxing effect. Psychedelic effects have been reported in higher doses. We personally recommend that an individual starts with a low dose and find the results that are beneficial to them.
